 Athletics Ontario offers high quality; nationally recognized coach certification to people with experience in Athletics and people with little to no experience in Athletics.

Hosting a NCCP Coaching Course:

  1. Clubs looking to host or coordinate a course or a Professional Development workshop, contact office@athleticsontario.ca to arrange a date, time etc.
  2. Institutions/ Schools (elementary or secondary) looking to host or coordinate a course to comply with the Ontario Physical Education Safety Guidelines by September 2016 to have one coach (teacher or volunteer) certified with the minimum qualification in high risk sports (i.e. track and field – discus, high jump, javelin, pole vault, shot put, steeplechase

  • Sport Coach criteria are highlighted in yellow
  • If a coach is not certified in SC, but is looking to be evaluated in CC, the coach needs to complete all criteria on the evaluation form
