Jamaica comes to Ontario

Athletics Ontario is excited to announce that we will be welcoming a few members of the Track and Field world from Jamaica to our province next weekend. Coach Maurice Wilson, Coach Marlon Gayle, and athletes Rasheed Dwyer and Sherone Simpson will be traveling here to lead athlete and coach workshops. They will also be attending our Indoor Championship Series Meet #3 on Saturday March 3, to observe and mingle with some of our coaches and athletes.

Following is a breakdown of their schedule for the duration of their visit and when/how you might be able to interact with them:


Thursday March 1st, 2018 – Athlete Workshop – 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM (OHPSI Funded Athletes will receive priority, limited space available)

Friday March 2nd, 2018 – Coaching Workshop – 9:15 AM – 4:45 PM + bonus practical training session 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM (lunch provided) (OHPSI Coaches will receive priority, limited space available)

Saturday March 3rd, 2018 – Competition Observation (athlete and coach feedback)
