We have a few very exciting announcements to make regarding the 2018 AO Awards Gala and Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, taking place on Saturday September 29, 2018. The first is regarding the structure of the evening. This year we are going to be offering a VIP, Hall of Fame Networking Experience for those interested in mingling with and celebrating the 2018 Hall of Fame Inductees. The VIP Experience will begin at 4:00 PM and will include hors d’oeuvres, drinks will be available and you will have the opportunity to mingle with current and former Hall of Fame Inductees.
If you are interested in attending the VIP portion of the event, as well as the Awards presentation, please select the VIP option when you register yourself.
We are also thrilled to announce that we will be bringing in three-time Olympian and television personality Rosey Edeh as our emcee for the evening!
The remainder of the evening will begin at 6:00 PM, and things are going to be different this year. We are very excited to share that we will be introducing a new program, called the All-Ontarian program. As we have done for the past 10 years, we will narrow down the top three finishing athletes per age group, event and gender, and those have then been narrowed down to select a winner. This year, those three top finishers will be presented certificates and named All-Ontarians, providing them recognition for being one of the top athletes in the province for the year. This year, we will be naming a male and female athlete of the year for each age category. You can find the Award Selection Criteria on our website.
We are very excited for the event this year, and we hope that you will be able to celebrate with us. Please register sooner than later so that we don’t sell out!

This portion welcomes current and past Hall of Fame Inductees (who are welcome to attend at no cost), to join us and celebrate this year’s Inductees. It also allows our current athletes and members the opportunity to mingle and network with these incredible individuals, over drinks and hors d’oeuvres.
Please note that there will be an additional charge to attend this portion of the event, and there will be a maximum attendance of 50 members. Get your ticket early to ensure you don’t miss out!
