This past weekend, the 2018 Canadian Cross Country Championships took place at Fort Henry, in Kingston, ON.

A special congratulations to Brogan MacDougall, who earned the gold in the U20 Women’s race with a time of 20:20.70, and maintained an undefeated season! Great work Brogan!

Unfortunately, due to some confusion with the team declaration process Team Ontario was ultimately not scored at the Championships. Once the error was realized, we worked to rectify the situation, but our appeal was denied. Despite this news, we are extremely proud of the results from our teams, and athletes, in some very trying weather conditions. We will be working with Athletics Canada to better understand the process and ensure this mistake is avoided in the future.
