Course Map
Cross country running is the natural terrain version of long-distance track and road running, and what better way to sample some of that natural terrain then by being a part of the 2019 Provincial Cross Country Championships at Seneca College’s King campus in King City, Ontario. Enjoy the challenge of running the way it all started – through field and forest – a rolling, twisting challenge of strategy, endurance and speed.
Until recently, IAAF has favoured manicured, golf course-style venues for their events, but are now getting back to more natural, rugged terrain which harkens back to the early roots of the sport. The 2019 edition of the provincial Cross Country Championships will challenge competitors with an event which embraces that tradition, by pitting runners against a classic and truly world-calibre race course.
