The 2020 Indoor Championship Series has come to a close. We saw many outstanding performances by individual athletes, all of which counted towards the score for their club’s overall team standings. While we are looking forward to the upcoming outdoor season, we cannot forget to celebrate our overall club champions from the 2020 indoor season.
The races are finished and calculations are done. Scoring a total of 170.5 points across all age categories, the 2020 Indoor Overall Club Champion is The University of Toronto Track Club! Their consistent scores across all age divisions earned them the highest total points for any club this indoor season.
Coming in 2nd place overall, with 158 points across all age categories is London Western Track and Field Club. The club displayed their strongest age division scores in the U18 and U20 age divisions.
The Flying Angels Academy’s dominance over the U18 age division helped the club earn third place in the overall club standings, with 150 total points.

U14: United Tamil Sports Club – 59pts
U16: Durham Dragons Athletics – 63.5pts
U18: Flying Angels Academy – 66pts
U20: St. Thomas Legion Track & Field – 70pts
Open: Phoenix Athletics Association of Ontario – 76pts
This year, Athletics Ontario introduced new U8, U10 and U12 age divisions and hosted the first indoor championship for these athletes. Athletics Ontario will be awarding an overall Developmental Club Champion. This year’s winner is the United Tamil Sports Club with a total of 555 points! Their complete dominance over the four youngest age divisions shows promising attributes for the development of the club and future of Ontario track and field.

U12: United Tamil Sports Club – 260pts
