Introduction of New Age Categories

Based on demand, Athletics Ontario is excited to be introducing three new age categories to our membership: U8, U10, U12. Fulfilling our mandate as the sport governing body for Athletics in the province, we are thrilled to be offering programming for these age groups.

We have scheduled an Athletics Ontario Indoor U8, U10 and U12 Championship for March 7, 2019, and will announce more events shortly. Stay tuned.

At our last Athletics Ontario Board meeting, the revised Athletics Ontario Membership Policy was approved and will be brought into effect on Monday, November 25, 2019. The Policy was introduced at our Annual General Meeting on Sunday, November 17, where we outlined the changes for clubs, coaches, and other members.

Following is a breakdown of the main policy changes, and the registration date for your category, including when you will be able to register and what new requirements you’ll have to meet.
