Athletics Ontario’s 3rd Annual Race Director Summit took place this past Saturday, January 18th, at the Delta Toronto East. Our huge snowstorm did not stop the majority of this profound, and knowledgeable group from attending the yearly gathering.

Topics covered at the summit included safety, emergency preparedness, course management logistics, race management, marketing, branding, sponsorship, volunteer recruitment and retention, insurance and sanctioning.  Making and fostering industry connections is a large component of the Athletics Ontario Summit being such a large province, home to a large variety of running races with such promise and potential for continued growth.
