There are only 4 days remaining to support the 6 Athletics Ontario athletes that were selected to take part in the first wave of the Adopt-an-Athlete program in partnership with Pursu.it. Pursu.it is a volunteer-run, nonprofit crowdfunding website for amateur athletes. As the first and only crowdfunding platform devoted to helping amateur athletes craft their story and focus on success, Pursu.it has raised over $310,000 to date and has helped eight athletes from various sports make it to the 2014 Sochi Olympics.
This first wave will run until 12:00 pm EST on Sunday February 15, 2015.

- Jen Cotten, Woodtstock, London-Western TFC, Combined Events
- Brittany Crew, Toronto, York University TFC, Throws
- Caroline Ehrhardt, Espinola, London-Western TFC, Triple Jump
- Noah Rolph, St. Thomas, St. Thomas Legion TFC, Throws
- Yves Sikubwabo, Guelph, Speed River TFC, 1500m, Distance
