Each year, Athletics Ontario takes great pride in recognizing its athletes who achieve the award of All-Ontarian – and we’re excited to share the criteria for the 2024 All-Ontarian recognition. Each All-Ontarian will receive a Certificate of Achievement after each championship; will be recognized on the AO social media platforms; and will be acknowledged at the annual Awards Gala. Below are the criteria for the Class of 2024 All-Ontarians.
- All-Ontarian athletes must be competitive members in good standing at the time of the performance.
- 2024 All-Ontarian Certificates of Achievement will be awarded to AO-member athletes who win a gold medal in an eligible provincial championship individual event* (relays are not included)
- The “Rule of One” – which states that there must be a minimum of two (2) athletes in an event/discipline for a gold medal to be awarded – will apply to all eligible categories. If the Rule of One criterion is not met, there is no eligibility to be named a 2024 All-Ontarian.
The following 2024 AO Provincial Championship events* are eligible for All-Ontarian recognition, with the top individual male and female athlete in each age division (U14 and up) and event discipline, to be recognized as an All-Ontarian, provided all criteria are met.
