OTTAWA – Athletics Canada unveiled today the finalists in 12 categories for the 2013 Athletics Canada Annual Awards. The finalists and winners are selected by Athletics Canada’s Awards Committee from the nominee pool put forth by the membership.

Canadian Masters Athletics Athletes of the Year
Canadian Masters Athletics (CMA) awards the Masters Athletes of the Year in four categories; Male and Female Running / Race Walking and Male and Female Field Events. The awards for 2013 will be announced in the Spring of 2014 and will be recognized at Athletics Canada’s Annual Awards Gala. To nominate someone for any of the Masters awards, please provide the athlete’s name, the category for which he or she is nominated, and details of the athlete’s 2013 accomplishments (including Provincial, National or International medals won, records set and age-graded performances) to the CMA, at: [email protected], by January 31, 2014.
