The Coaches Association of Ontario (CAO) is your hub for coaching sport in Ontario, offering coach development, funding, and events to coaches of all sports from community to high performance. For more information about how CAO can support you throughout your coaching journey, click HERE.

Coach Bursary Program
The CAO recognizes that coaches incur many out-of-pocket expenses along their coaching journey, however, there are several funding opportunities and support programs available to help offset some of these costs. Ontario coaches and PSOs are encouraged to apply for professional development and financing programs year-round.

High Risk Safety Videos

With support from the Coaches Association of Ontario, Athletics Ontario has targeted “higher risk” events that pose potential concerns to coaching track & field. These instructional videos are to be used as a resource tool to help coaches with rules, specific warm ups, safety, teaching progressions, error detection-correction, and training methods.
