Athletics Ontario is deeply saddened to share the passing of AO Hall of Fame member Elaine Lake. Elaine was an active Official for Athletics Ontario for over 50 years. We would like to pass on our sincerest condolences to Elaine‘s family and friends.

As an Official, Elaine was Internationally graded as a Track Referee, Umpire, Starter’s Assistant, and Jury of Appeal. Additionally, Elaine was a National Clinician and Evaluator and, while active in 2014, was the only ITO (International Technical Delegate/Technical delegate) for the IPC (International Paralympics Committee).
