The Ottawa Lions are currently seeking to fill two positions – (1) Executive Assistant & Registrar and (2) Manager (Youth Programs), with an application closing date of August 13, 2021.

Manager (Youth Programs)

The Ottawa Lions Track and Field Club is seeking applications for a full-time Manager (Youth Programs) to begin Monday, August 30, 2021.

The Manager (Youth Programs) is a management role focused on delivering Ottawa Lions’ youth programs, recruiting and managing volunteer coaches and staff, and ongoing athlete development.

This coaching role requires an understanding of coaching and athlete development principles across all track and field events. A major focus of this role is on youth programs for 6-11 year olds (70% of role), while also providing leadership in our sponsorship, event planning, and grant application initiatives (30% of role).

Executive Assistant and Registrar

The Ottawa Lions Track and Field Club is seeking applications for a full-time Executive Assistant and Registrar to begin Monday, August 30th, 2021.

The Executive Assistant and Registrar is an administrative support role focused on member relations, office operations, communications, and event planning. The ideal candidate is client-service oriented, with a passion for sport generally and an interest in track and field, who holds a willingness and desire to immerse themselves in the sport. Development opportunities are encouraged and will be provided for coaching and mentoring athletes as well as for officiating events.

This is a full-time (40 hours per week) salaried permanent position that reports directly to the Executive Director.
