Where and When?

• Marcellinus Secondary College, Mississauga (730 Courtneypark Dr W, Mississauga)
• Competition Days: Fri July 22^nd, Sat July 23^rd 10am-5pm
• Athlete Drop Off: 10am – 2pm Thursday July 21^st at the competition track (St. Marcellinus College)
• Athlete Pick Up: at the end of competition Saturday July 23^rd at the competition track (St. Marcellinus College)

Accommodation

• All athletes and staff will be staying at the Hilton Mississauga/Meadowvale, 6750 Mississauga Rd, Mississauga
• Athletes will be staying in rooms of two, with an athlete of the same gender
• Athlete will stay with an athlete from the same colour team
• We have made efforts to room athletes from the same club together, but not always. Unfortunately, we are unable to make changes to the rooming list
• Athletes are required to stay with the team at the meet hotel

Transport

• Once dropped off, athletes will be travelling with the team via buses between the competition venue, the hotel, and dining hall
• All athletes must travel with the team
• Athletes are required to be at the track during the competition, even if they are not competing that day

Competition

• Two days of competition
• Four teams: RED, WHITE, BACK and GREY
• Each athlete will compete for points towards their team colour, with a grand trophy prize at the end of the competition
• Top three placegetters in each event receive medals
• Detailed Athletics Competition Schedule (as of July 20)

What to Bring

• See full packing list for athletes
• Athletes are provided with competition singlet, and opening ceremony t-shirt
• Athletes to bring black or dark (preferred) competition bottoms
• Throwing/Pole Vault athletes are encouraged to bring their own implements (can be dropped off at track on Thursday)

Athlete Behaviour

• All athletes are to sign off on the OSG22 athlete code of conduct
• There will be a ‘buddy’ system; athletes will be paired up with their roommate
• No athlete may enter the room of an athlete of another gender
• All athletes to be in their rooms before 10pm
• Lights out 11pm
• Absolutely no drugs, alcohol or nicotine allowed at the hotel or competition
• Athletes are expected to be early to all bus departures (check daily posted schedule)

July 21 – July 24 – Ontario Summer Games – St. Marcellinus Secondary, Mississauga, ON

July 21 – Check-in, team training, opening ceremony

July 22- Competition Day 1

July 23 – Competition Day 2, departure
