This competition is sanctioned by Athletics Ontario, World Athletics, and World Para Athletics. Member performances achieved at this event are eligible for world rankings.
Category D
Certain events will be contested under this category. The results and placing at a category D meet contributes greatly in the points needed to qualify for championships through the World Athletics ranking system. There are very few category D or better meets held in Canada each year.
