Race Offerings: 21.1 km, and 42.2 Marathon
The Georgina Marathon and Half Marathon is set to be one of the fastest and most
scenic races in the GTA.
It takes place in the beautiful Georgina township that is central for athletes in the GTA,
the Golden Horseshoe and “Cottage Country.” The course is scenic and flat, and features
a quiet, winding road along Lake Simcoe, past impressive ‘cottages’, sandy beaches,
idyllic parks and upscale golf courses. Out and back for the half marathon, and a double
loop for the full distance.
This is a sanctioned event and is being designed as a Boston Qualifier. We are not able
to offer pacers because Covid restrictions continue to encourage distancing.
The necessary Covid-19 safety protocols will be in place to ensure it meets the criteria
established by Health Ontario at the time of the event. Participants will be required to fill
out Covid screening questionnaires and follow public health guidelines in order to register
and participate. Masks or face coverings will be required when on site for packet pick up
and when not running, and during the race if situations arise where physical distancing
cannot be maintained.
Participants will receive a custom buff and finisher medal.
