This is a provincial sanctioned, World Athletics sanctioned, and WPA sanctioned competition. Member performances achieved at this competition are eligible for provincial/national/world rankings.
Category D
Certain events will be contested under this category. The results and placing at this competition contributes in the points needed to qualify for championships through the World Athletics ranking system. There are few category D or better meets held in Canada each year.
This event is also part of Athletics Canada’s National Track and Field Tour. Visit the National Track and Field Tour website for more infomration. Each competition that is a part of the National Track and Field Tour will have elite sections that require an invitation to compete. Athletes interested in participating in these elite sections are encouraged to complete the 2024 Expression of Interest form.
