The Waterloo 10km Classic Road Race

The Waterloo Classic is Waterloo Region’s oldest and largest 10k race. The Father’s Day tradition began in 1978 and is still going strong, bringing families and the running community in general together for a fun summer weekend of running!

This race has it all: a strong and supportive community, live bands, competitive field, great food, pizza and beer, and prizes, finisher medals, and much more.

This year, we are once again creating a race weekend of races, with the 5 KM being run on Saturday evening and the 10 KM and 3 KM being run on Sunday morning. This creates an opportunity for participants to complete either The Big Dipper (5 KM on Saturday and 10 KM on Sunday) or the Little Dipper (5 KM on Saturday and 3KM on Sunday).

The Kids 200m event is also a special event, with over 100 kids experiencing the thrill of what running is all about.
