In 1999 a group of 100 Canadian Women running in Toronto broke the Guinness World Record for the 100 x 1 mile relay in a time of 9:23:39. Last summer the record was broken by women in San Francisco (time 9:18.32). Our goal is simple; Bring this record home. The event will take place at McMaster University at 9 am on July 7th.
We are calling for Canadian women who have run a verified 1500m in 5:05 since June 1, 2023 or a road race result which supports a 5:30 mile. If this is you, please consider submitting an interest form by clicking the MORE INFORMATION tab below.
