2022 Athletics Ontario Awards Gala and Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony (Virtual)
In less than two weeks – on Tuesday, December 6, and Wednesday, December 7 from 7-9pm each night – the Athletics Ontario community will come together to celebrate the year that was 2022! From recognizing our All-Ontario Athletes, to announcing our Athletes of the Year, to highlighting outstanding contributions to the sport, to hearing from special guests – it is going to be two incredible evenings!
Of course, we couldn’t host an event without a prize draw (or two)! Every person who registers to attend – and did we say, it’s FREE – will also receive one (1) ballot for an amazing swag giveaway. The prize pack includes one of each of the following AO branded items: backpack, baseball cap, long sleeve shirt, short sleeve shirt, and windbreaker jacket. Register for two nights, and you will have one ballot for night one, and one ballot for night two. Want to increase your odds of winning? You can purchase additional tickets for $10 for one, or $25 for three. After all, “I have too much running gear, said no AO member EVER”
We can’t wait to “see” you there!

Athlete of the Year & All-Ontarians
Selected All-Ontarians represent the top athletes in their respective age, gender, and event disciplines. Unlike the traditional Athlete of the Year award, instead of selecting one winner, a “team” of athletes are to be named All-Ontarians for the year. Athlete of the Year Awards will be presented to the top Male and Female athletes in each age group (U14, U16, U18, U20, Open, Para, Masters).
All-Ontarians are selected based on their overall performance for the year and their participation and performance at National and International track meets.
