January 10

  • An updated club roster list was posted this morning at 10:15am. A final will be posted this afternoon. Please ensure all athletes are accounted for, especially the athletes that are only running a relay this weekend.

January 8

  • The final schedule has been posted and can be viewed here.
  • Please review your club roster to ensure that you have all relay only athletes registered. This will ensure that they are assigned a bib number. If you are missing any relay athletes, please email Randolph Fajardo [email protected] as soon as possible.
  •  Seeded sections will be posted prior to each day of competition. Saturday seeded sections will be posted on Friday and Sunday seeded sections will be posted on Saturday.
  • Please ensure relay cards are submitted to the timing/results desk no later than 1 hour before the scheduled start of each relay.
    • Relay cards can be picked up at the timing/results desk or can be downloaded from the live results.
    • Not submitting a relay card for a team will result in that particular team being scratched from the race.

  • Schedule has been updated
    • 60m to run by age division and top 24 in each division to advance to the finals. Finals will run from slow to fast.
    • Correction to the U20 Long Jump. The event will occur on Sunday.

January 3

  • Due to issues with club renewals on AthleticsReg, we will be eliminating the late deadline fees and extend the regular deadline. The new regular deadline will be on Wednesday, January 8 at 10:00am.
  • Please note that a revised schedule will be released on Saturday, January 4 and the final schedule will be published on Wednesday, January 8 shortly after the deadline closes.
  • The tentative schedule has been updated to correct the start time for flight 1 of the pole vault on Sunday. Tentative Schedule – as of January 3 @ 3:45pm

January 6

  • A revised schedule has been posted. Please note that the final schedule will be posted on January 8 following the closure of the extended entry deadline.

Athletes

  • This championship is for U16, U18, U20 & Open Relays. The relays being offered will be the 4x200m, 4x400m, and 4x800m, and Shuttle Relay. The Sprint Medley Relay will be offered during each age group’s individual championship.
    • If you are looking for U8/10/12/14 relays, they will be offered at the Rising Stars Finale on March 30.
  • Athletes from outside of Canada must contact AO Operations to enter the competition.

U16 Selections

  • Top performing U16 athletes in each event may be eligible to be selected for the U16 Dual Meet in February. For more information on selection criteria for the Dual Meet, please visit the Athlete High Performance Opportunities page.

Coaches

  • Coaches & Associates will need to register here for a coaches pass to access the fieldhouse. Only coaches and associates, registered in 2025 who are in “ISSUED” Status will be able to access the fieldhouse during the championship.
  • Coaches from any Branch of Athletics Canada can use the registration link above to register for a Coaches pass

  • The host hotel for the championship is the Best Western Plus Toronto North York, 50 Norfinch Dr, North York, ON M3N 1X1
  • Room rate: 2 queen beds $189/night plus taxes. Contact the hotel and quote the Athletics Ontario championships to receive the rate.

    • Athletics Ontario reserves the right to accept entries after the late deadline and if it does not cause a disruption to the conduct of the meet.
  • Individual Events: $35/event
  • Relays (4x200m, 4x400m, 4x800m): $60 per relay

TECHNICAL PACKAGE

  • Girls and boys may be combined in the U12, U14, U16 divisions where necessary.
  • Relay cards will be avilable at the timing/results table. You can also download the template to print your own here.
    • Failure to submit a relay card will result in the relay team being scratched from the race.
    • Relay cards are due 1-hour before the start of each scheduled race.
  • Track athletes are to check-in with officials at the start line prior to the scheduled start time of an event. No additional declaration is needed prior to the event.
  • Field atheltes are to check-in with officials at their field event before the event starts.
    • If an athlete needs to scratch from an event once the championship has begun, please advise the timing/results table as soon as possible.
