Athletics Ontario will host its sixth and final Outdoor Championship this weekend across the province. U8, U10, U12 and U14 athletes will compete on August 28-29, spanning over three regional locations. The Masters Pentathlon and Throws Pentathlon will also take place immediately following the Rising Stars Festival at the Central Location.
This is the first event of its kind, as the introduction of the U8, U10, U12 age categories was interrupted during the 2020 outdoor season due to the pandemic. Athletes will compete for provincial titles in the following championship events:
U8 Division: 60m, 150m, Standing Long Jump, Ball Throw, 4x100m
U10 Division: 60m, 150m, 600m, 1000m, 80mH, 800mW, High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put, 4x100m
U12 Division: 80m, 150m, 300m, 600m, 1000m, 80mH, 800mW, High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put, 4x100m
U14 Division: 80m, 150m, 300m, 800m, 1200m, 2000m, 80mH, 200mH, 800mW, High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put, Discus Throw, Javelin Throw, 4x100m, 4x400m, 4x800m
Masters (Central Region Only): Pentathlon and Throws Pentathlon

West Region: Ray Lewis Track & Field Centre at Mohawk Sports Park, Hamilton

- Relay cards can be picked up at the accreditation/bib pick up tent. Finalized relay cards must be submitted to the timing/results team no later than 30min before the start of each relay.
East Region: Thousand Island Secondary School, Brockville

Reminder for coaches:
- Please double check that your athlete is in the correct event or gender.
- If you have athletes that are ONLY running a relay this weekend, please email to add those individuals to the meet.
- Coaches that attended a previous Championship this season are asked to bring their pass back for the Rising Stars Festival.
- Coaches will be able to pick up their accreditation at the front entrance, in the same location where athletes will receive their bib numbers.

Spectator Information
- Spectators will be allowed at all locations! There will be no spectator fee for entry.
- All spectators and championship personnel are required to wear a mask at all times, as it is facility mandated
