Jeff Adams, was a wheelchair athlete and has been one of Canada’s most successful Paralympic athletes. Jeff helped establish parathletics in the country and has competed at six consecutive Paralympic Games from 1988 to 2008, winning a total of three gold, four silver, and six bronze medals. Jeff’s medals were achieved in distances of 400m, 800m, 1500m, 5000m and as a member of both the 4x100m and 4x400m relay teams. Jeff was also the previous world record holders in the 1500m and 400m events.
