We are excited to announce that the Jumpstart Accessibility Grants have officially opened for 2019 funding submissions! In 2018, Jumpstart provided funding to 9 exciting projects across Canada to assist with enhancing accessibility to recreation facilities for kids of all abilities. We look forward to Jumpstart’s continuous work to remove barriers to sport and play for kids with disabilities, and to create more accessible and inclusive environments across Canada!

Jumpstart Accessibility Grants offer two funding streams: Accessibility-Enabling Grants, which provide eligible facilities with up to $50,000 for projects to adapt and enhance existing facilities, and Inclusive Design Innovation Grants, which provide between $100,000 and $1,000,000 for projects designed to uniquely enhance sport and recreation spaces with innovative solutions.

Jumpstart is now accepting applications for both funding streams until February 15, 2019.
