Katherine Ozolins Appointed New Executive Director Of Athletics Ontario

The Board of Athletics Ontario today announced the appointment of Ms. Katherine Ozolins to the role of Executive Director.

Ms. Ozolins brings a wealth of experience working in the sports-management sector. Her entrepreneurial, business development and project management skills and experience will help drive the continued development and promotion of the sport of athletics in Ontario.

Prior to joining Athletics Ontario, Ms. Ozolins spent five years with the Organizing Committee for the Toronto 2015 Pan/ Parapan American Games (TO2015) focusing on Games operations and sport management. Ms. Ozolins holds a Bachelor of Management & a Bachelor of Recreation
Science from Dalhousie University.

Ms. Ozolins is an avid triathlete and road cyclist. In addition to being a three-time member of the Canadian World Championships Triathlon Team, she currently races on the Giant Cycling team based out of Toronto. Ms. Ozolins is also a certified Level 2 NCCP Coach and facilitates clinics and camps within the local community.

Ms. Ozolins assumed the Executive Director role on October 19, 2015.
