Athletics Canada is pleased to announce today that London Runner Distance Club will host the 2015 Canadian 10,000m Championships Sunday May 10 at TD Stadium on the campus of Western University.

London Runner Distance Club, with meet director Steve Weiler at the helm, has successfully hosted nine consecutive Ontario 10,000m Championships (2006 to 2014).

“London Runner is excited to host the 2015 Canadian 10,000m Championships at the 10th annual London 10,000m meet, in conjunction with the 2015 Athletics Ontario 10,000m Championships. We look forward to working with Athletics Canada and Athletics Ontario to elevate the level of 10,000m racing in Canada.”

The host organizing committee is planning a community fun run preceding the Canadian 10,000m Championships to aid in increasing community support and awareness.
