The London Western Track & Field Club has an opening for the part-time position of Manager, with the potential to become full-time.
The manager will be expected to report to the club’s Board of Directors, ensuring that all programs, facilities, and meets are organized and coordinated.
Specific duties of this position include, but are not limited, to: communication with coaches on meet information, organizing fund raising activities and meets, organizing travel to provincial and national championships, scheduling and booking of facilities, on- and off-site communication with club membership, coaching recruitment, maintaining web-site and social media promotion, and other duties as required.
In addition, the applicant should have: strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, an understanding of track & field and the needs of coaches/athletes, and critical thinking and problem solving skills.
