This weekend, at the Sharon Anderson Memorial meet, Abdullahi Hassan took to the track and set the third new Canadian record of the year.
He was competing in the U18 600m, and he blew his competition out of the water! He clocked in for a final time of 1:20.43, decreasing the record time by more than half a second. The previous record was held by Felix Therien, a time of 1:21.05.
