NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

TAKE NOTICE THAT an Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the members in good standing of ATHLETICS ONTARIO will be held on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at the Athletics Ontario head office, 3 Concorde Gate, Toronto, ON M3C 3N7, Boardrooms 1, 2, 3 & 4 and Lobby at 12:00 p.m. for the following purposes:

to receive and consider the annual report containing the report of the Board of Directors and the financial statements of the Association made up of a balance sheet, as at March 31, 2015 and statements of income and deficit changes in financial position for the year then ended, together with the auditor’s report thereon;

to appoint auditors and authorize the directors to fix their remuneration;

to consider and confirm the imposition of dues, fees or assessments payable by members;

to consider and confirm By-law amendments;

to elect members as Directors; and

to transact such further or other business as may properly come before the meeting or any adjournment thereof.

Prior to the start of the AGM being hosted on Sunday November 22, 2015, there will be an engaging and enlightening workshop offered to all from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. with a focus on coaches and clubs. Topics will include information on how to improve upon your club with tools from the Club Excellence certification standards, information on how to leverage social media to promote and communicate with existing members and grow your club’s membership and reputation and new research on training and recovery.
