OT Fitness gets a head start in kickoff to Sports Day in Canada with Learn to Play Project

OT Fitness, through an RBC Grant made on behalf of Athletics Ontario, set up the first “Team Competition” of the season, which took place on Thursday November 27 at David Suzuki Secondary School in Brampton, ON. The 6 -school team competition was the first of many to take place at schools across Ontario, with the top teams being invited to compete in the finale in Toronto in March/April. Presented by

The OT Fitness Team Competition Series is a program that introduces a new approach/delivery to sport and physical activity through the introduction of a physical literacy-based program recommended by Canadian Sport 4 Life http://canadiansportforlife.ca/resources/find-quality-sport-programs
This program also provides learning of a new skill that the child/youth would otherwise not had the opportunity to experience in their community and exposes children/youth to a multi-skill participation experience.
