We are saddened by the news of the passing of Gary Malloy, head Cross Country Coach for the Windsor Lancers. He coached middle distance runners at both the University of Windsor as well as some University of Windsor Athletic Club athletes.

Gary was a long time influence to the sport of track and field in our province. He was more than just a coach, he always put his athletes first. Gary had been heavily involved in four OFSAA Championships, three track and field which took place in Windsor, and one cross country meet in Sarnia. He also organized the 2017 OUA Cross Country Championship in Windsor.
