The cost for an Athletics Ontario Road & Trail Sanction is $75 per year (this fee is waived for Registered 2024 Athletics Ontario Affiliate or Recreational Run Club Members), contingent upon meeting the provincial sanction criteria, to be invoiced upon completion of the race. Use of our logo on your website and marketing along with your unique AO Sanction code on your website indicates to your participants that you successfully meet our Sanction Criteria.

Insurance Access

• All road and trail running races/events that require insurance must be a registered Athletics Ontario Race Organization, in good standing, first.  RENEW/APPLY HERE
• Events requiring coverage under the Athletics Ontario Policy must be Sanctioned first, fill out the below Sanction Application
• Once the below application is submitted, submit your insurance certificate request
• Insurance certificates can take up to 3 weeks to process, please apply with ample time before your event. Last minute requests are not guaranteed to be issued
