IMPORTANT NOTICE – New Club Requirements

As introduced at our 2019 Annual General Meeting, we have revised our Membership Policy and it includes new club and coach requirements. All policies are constantly under review by the board and additional changes may arise in the future, but currently, the only exception to the policy is in regard to the coaching requirements.
You can review the revised Membership Policy, as well as our other policies, on our website.

Recreational Athletes and Competitive Athlete Memberships available for U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, U18, U20, Open and Masters (30 yrs plus) ages.

COACHES & ASSOCIATES –  “REGISTER NOW” (link to https://www.trackie.com/members/ON.php)

In our revised Membership Policy, we will be requiring that all Coaches submit annually a Police Criminal Record Check, and complete the Respect Group’s program “Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders,” before completing their renewal on Trackie. Please learn more about, and register for, the program here: https://athletics-canada-al.respectgroupinc.com/

OFFICIALS –  “REGISTER NOW” (link to https://www.trackie.com/members/ON.php)

In our revised Membership Policy, we will be requiring that all Officials submit annually an original Police Criminal Record Check.

Additionally, a Power of Attorney form should be completed only by those athletes wishing to appoint a Power of Attorney (if you aren’t sure about a Power of Attorney ask your club Registrar or Coach). Essentially, the Power of Attorney form is a complicated but important document which allows someone in your club (or a designate) to sign waivers on your behalf. This is a convenience which will relieve many administrators of the task of getting entry form waivers signed every time an athlete enters a meet.
