Para Try-It Day (Coaches and Athletes) –

Eighteen athletes and coaches attended a Para Try-it Workshop at the TTFC on May 7th.  The coaches were led by Ken Hall, Ken Thom and Faye Blackwood through the basics of Para coaching (seated throws and wheelchair racing).  This was followed by first time athletes experimenting with the events.  We’re happy to report that five of the athletes will be attending the Brampton meet this weekend and hope to be classified.

We were fortunate to have High Performance athletes Isaiah Christophe and Austin Smeenk helping us out with the workshop.

Thanks to Everyone!
