The University of Toronto held on to its claim of being the Number 1 indoor club in Ontario. While winning only one age category the UTTC amassed sufficient points across the board to clinch the overall title with 198 point to Project Athletics’ 176.5 and York University TC’s 154.5. For Project Athletics it was their first ever finish in the top 3 indoor overall. Etobicoke (145), Flying Angels (142) and Laurel Creek (142) rounded out the top 6.
In the Senior category York University Track Club regained the title it had lost in 2012, while Project Athletics moved up one spot from 2013.
Etobicoke dominated the Junior Division from start to finish, doubling the second place team’s (Laurel Creek) score 110 points to 55.
University of Toronto held on to the lead in the Youth category (61 points) despite strong finishes by both Durham Dragons (52) and Project Athletics (49) at the Relays Championships.
In the Midget category it was the Flying Angels who, with 73 points, came out on top. The Flying Angels were able to convert their win in the Bantam category last year. UTTC and London Legion tied for 2nd spot with 47 points each.
A newer club, Central Toronto AC, won the Bantam division over Niagara Regional Athletics 45 points to 40. Newmarket was 3rd with 31 points.
