Athletics Ontario Community Time Trial Series

We are very excited to offer a Bi-Weekly VIRTUAL Time Trial Series from June 1-September 17, 2021. Each two week segment will offer you the option of running a short course (400m-3000m) or long course (800m – 10,000m). Use this series in whatever way that serves your training the best: as a training tool, as a part of your workout or as an all out effort. In addition to ranked results on Race Roster, we will be providing Age-Graded% results via our website.

Whether you are elite, junior, masters, competitive, non-competitive, beginner, intermediate or advanced runner we encourage all to take part! With your choice of either a short course or long course option for each two-week segment we encourage everyone age groups to participate depending on your training focus. We encourage all ages and abilities to take part!

Time Trial Schedule

For each of the eight two-week segments please choose one long course OR short course, whichever suits your training program that week. You can re-submit your time anytime within the two-week segment up until 11:59pm on the last day of each segment.

#1) June 1 – 13: Short Course 400m / Long Course 1500m

#2) June 14 – 27: Short Course 800m / Long Course 3000m

#3) June 28 – July 11: Short Course 1500m / Long Course 5000m

#4) July 12 – 25: Short Course 2000m / Long Course 8000m

#5) July 26 – August 8: Short Course 800m / Long Course 2000m

#6) August 9 – 22: Short Course 1500m / Long Course 4000m

#7) August 23 – September 5: Short Course 2000m / Long Course 6000m

#8) September 6 – 19: Short Course 3000m / Long Course 10,000

All registration & results will be run through Race Roster!

Age graded results will be posted here, following each bi-weekly time trial!

After registration, how to Enter:

1) Join Strava, a free online tracker and social community for runners

2) Join the Athletics Ontario club on Strava: www.strava.com/clubs/athleticsontario

3) If you require a 2021 membership renewal, or wish to become a valued member of Athletics Ontario please follow this link: https://www.trackie.com/members/ON.php

4) Submit your result to the official leaderboard on this Race Roster page HERE with a screen shot of your activity (resubmissions are permitted within the two week segment).

5) The top 5 finishers of each gender, from each bi-weekly time trial segment will be featured in AO’s weekly newsletter and on our social media channels! Keep up with our social media (@athleticsont) for updates on each time trial! We will (optionally) ask for your social media handle in registration so we can tag you appropriately on social media should you place within the top 5 of your age graded ranking.

Prizes!

Prizes will be awarded to our valued registered Athletics Ontario members, via random draws, on both participation basis and overall performance at the end of the series.
