2023 RACE SOLD OUT The Fenelon Falls Turkey Trot is in the 7th year.The purpose of the event is to provide an opportunity for the local area athletes to get outside and engage in some friendly competitive running and walking on Thanksgiving weekend.The event is also a fundraiser for the annual Santa Day Parade. The event is slated for Saturday October 7th at 10 am.The location is Garnet Graham Beach Park on Cameron Lake in Fenelon Falls. Festive park atmosphere, music and live announcer on site. The course is an out back on the flat fast Kawartha Rail Trail.The distances are 1k for kids, 5k and 10k for youth and adults. All participants receive the following items: Souvenir custom bib #, High Quality custom designed cotton t-shirt, Timed finish courtesy of Splitz Timing, Unique Wooden Finishers medal, Delicious lunch courtesy of local merchants, Supervised Social bon fire in the park during the event, Unique wood round trophies to 5k and 10k winners. Prize money to top male and female winners in the 1k, 5k, and 10k unique wood medals for the top three in ten year age groups for the 5k and 10k. Eligible for draw prizes at the awards |
